The Making of A.N.H. 2 |
|
|
This is the start of the revision for my ANH 2 helmet. I increased the dome size by casting another dome from the ANH 1. |

I stretched it over the existing to make it slightly larger and to create the front edge where the rubber brow will go. Hoping this will help give the illusion it is more than a one piece helmet. I also wanted to stretch the mouth and shorten the nose a little too. |

The main spot that bothered me was the area around the aerators. I again used some parts that I cut from an ANH 1 to bring the shape around the aerators forward. This probably makes the biggest difference to me. |

I primered the helmet and took some pictures to compare how my revisions were coming along. I took pictures in the same angle of some pics I had of GINO's helmet and an original from ESB. I am not trying to copy it, just use it for reference. Remember, I am trying to make a symmetrical helmet, unlike an original. |

I also noticed the "tail" part of the ears were too long. So I felt those needed to be shorten using pieces from my ANH 1. |

Then I decided to narrow the sides of the face a little and correct the shape of the eyes. |
